The body of the woman who died after allegedly being run over by a bus

A Foreman Road resident allegedly ran into the back wheel of a bus and died at the intersection of Kennedy and Clare Road on Thursday, 26 January 2012 at 9am.

The woman had fetched her medication from the Clare Estate Clinic when she tried to cross the road. Details of the accident are unclear, but it is alleged that the woman fell in front of the back wheels of the bus which subsequently rolled over her, killing her instantly.
Police have opened a culpable homicide docket for investigation.
