Drug pushers be aware

Durban Central Police are taking a zero tolerance stance against drug abuse. Police Spokesman Michael Read said that this often leads to other crimes such as theft, robbery, assault, or murder.

"Persons who are taking or dealing in drugs will be arrested and detained. Apart from being imprisoned you will have a criminal record," said Read.

Say no to drug abuse
1:When you are caught for possession or dealing in drugs, You will be arrested and detained in Police custody and thereafter transferred to the local Police prison.
2: Different people respond differently to the same drug
3: The more drugs you take the more you will need to feed the habit. Often the user will turn to theft or prostitution to feed the habit.
4: It is not weak people who become drug users but drug users who become weak.
5: Life can be tough but using drugs only makes it tougher
6: Look for symptoms of drug abuse
Report criminal activity or drug dealers to your local police station or crime stop 08600 10111.
