Merry christmas
Scores of children converged on Gateway Theatre of Shopping last Saturday as part of an annual campaign that aims to bring festive cheer to those in need.
Gateway elected two orphanages, Tholakele Creche and Mater Spei Creche, to attend the Christmas festivities. The children were treated like VIP guests and their joy was evident from the smiles on the faces.
Clowns and other entertainers brought fun and excitement to the event, but it was Santa Clause's arrival that was the highlight of the day.
Gateway manager Adrian Raw said, “Santa’s arrival is part of our corporate investment initiative, underpinning Gateway's aim at providing everything you could imagine. It is so rewarding to see the excitement on the children's faces as they sit on Santa’s lap and receive their presents.”
Pictured is one of the children from the Mater Spei Creche receiving her present from Santa. They join the Northern Star in wishing all readers and clients a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
